The Gypsies Peach Cobbler

The Gypsies Peach Cobbler

So I have searched high and low looking through Mamas cookbooks for a quick easy peach cobbler recipe, every one that I found seemed to be missing something and all the others got real complicated and let’s just be honest I don’t do complicated well. Finally as I was about to give up an old folded up piece of paper fell out of a cookbook that I’ve had since I was a girl. In my Granny’s scratched cursive I read what seemed to be the easiest peach cobbler recipe I’ve ever used and boy oh boy was it exactly what I was looking for! A shortcut on time and prep work without a shortcut on taste! Grab a glass of sweet tea and a pen or hey just go ahead and preheat that oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and we’ll make what I’m calling The Gypsies Peach Cobbler!

Preheat oven to 375
8x8 pan (double the recipe and grab a 16 x 16)
1 large can sliced peaches (light juice)
1 box yellow cake mix (grab what’s on sell)
1 stick REAL butter
1 pinch cinnamon (literally a pinch)

Dump can of peaches into pan, pour dry cake mix over the top, sprinkle your pinch of cinnamon and add slices of butter (I like my butter all over the top so every bit has a good butter flavor). Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Add a scoop of your favorite ice cream or just serve it all by its self!
It’s so good y’all!
